Customer Notice!

Updated: Jan 21, 2019

Dear Centaur Internet Customers,

Please be advised that Centaur Communications does not send these type of promotions to Customers.

The “Dear user, congratulations!” pop-ups may be caused either by malicious advertisements on the sites you visit or adware.

When it comes to adware, these malicious programs are bundled with other free software that you download from the Internet. Once an adware program is installed on your device, whenever you browse the Internet, your browser will be redirected to sites that display the “Dear user, congratulations!” message.

Here are a few typical signs that you have adware on your system:

⚠Advertisements appear in places they shouldn’t be. ⚠Your web browser’s homepage has mysteriously changed without your permission. ⚠Website links redirect to sites different from what you expected. ⚠Other unwanted programs might get installed without your knowledge.

Be very careful and avoid opening such messages.
